Ara Mina remains unmoved by Cristine Reyes‘ apology, as she vowed to pursue her court case against her sister.
Gusto lang niya matigil syempre for her career,” Ara told ABS-CBN News.

On Tuesday, Ara filed her reply at the Quezon City Regional Trial Court to Cristine’s counter-affidavit, which details the younger actress’ response to charges of libel and grave coercion filed by Ara last April. This, despite reports of Cristine’ being apologetic for the incidents leading up to the controversial charges.
On Cristine’s alleged denial of Ara’s charges, the older sibling said the young actress should “stop pretending.”
“Stop pretending nalang. Wala na akong galit sa kanya. Kumbaga wala siya talagang effort eh. Wala akong maramdaman eh,” Ara said.
Public apology
Ara said she is also did not feel Cristine’s sincerity in the counter-affidavit Cristine filed to answer to the charges filed against her.
“I’ll be honest, seryosong bagay to eh. Nag-counter-affidavit [siya]. Doon sa counter-affidavit niya, hindi siya nagde-deny. Sinasabi niya ako inspirasyon niya. Dapat ‘di raw dumaan sa ganitong proseso,” Ara said.
Ara also reiterated her other reason for filing the charges against Cristine — that the young actress had allegedly dragged other people into their dispute.
Mom disappointed
Since Ara emotionally revealed plans of filing court charges against her sister, she said their mother has also mulled over why Cristine had gone to such lengths in asking Ara for money.
In April, Ara said Cristine allegedly asked for her older sister to turn over an SUV as payment for the remaining P1.8 million balance for a Quezon City townhouse they bought in 2011 for their mother. If not, Cristine allegedly threatened that she will continue her personal attacks against her.
Asked if there is still chance for reconciliation, Ara said it is only natural for siblings to eventually patch things up and call truce.
